Scenic America 2013
Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Boston
Arrival in Boston and Transfer to Hotel Evening free at Leisure to meet your Tour Manager and discuss the itinerary in the Days to Come. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Boston
After Breakfast proceed for a Boston City Tour and Visit the Charlestown Navy Yard where "Old Ironsides" U.S.S. Constitution is berthed. Visit the USS Constitution Museum. Aboard the USS Cassin Young, a World War II destroyer.(USS Constitution is closed for tours on Mondays, however viewing is available in addition to other attractions at the Navy Yard.)Stop at the Bunker Hill Monument, Visit the Copp's Hill Burial Ground established in 1659.Travel along the waterfront at the historic North End. Visit Faneuil Hall Marketplace during a 1-1/2 hour lunch and shopping stop. Nearby are Paul Revere's house, the Holocaust Memorial and Boston Massacre Site. Travel the historic Freedom Trail. View Scollay Square, King's Chapel, the Old Granary Burial Ground where Paul Revere, John Hancock and Sam Adams are buried, Park Street Church, and Boston Common. Brief picture stop at the Massachusetts State House.  Travel around Beacon Hill, pass by the "Cheers" bar and the Public Garden featuring the world famous Swan Boats. Travel along Newbury Street and see its trendy shops and fantastic restaurants. Brief Stop in the Victorian Back Bay. See the Trinity Church in Copley Square. See the Boston Public Library and Symphony Hall. Cross the Charles River into Cambridge. Pass sections of Harvard University, Harvard Square, and Harvard Yard. Brief Stop at the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow House which also served as George Washington's headquarters. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, however we stop for a picture stop. View MIT, Fenway Park (home of the 7 time World Champion Red Sox!!)The TD Garden (home of the 17 time World Champion Celtics!) and more!!!

Day 3: Boston to New York  
After Breakfast Proceed to New York, Reach NYC, We stretch the night for you with an Illumination Tour, driving past spectacularly lit landmarks of New York. It's magnificent. Spend some free time at Times square and later in the evening we proceed to Empire State building, Continue to the Observation Deck, from where you will enjoy unequalled panoramic views of Manhattan. Breathtaking vistas stretch for miles in every direction. See New York's famous landmarks, including the Rockefeller Centre, the Chrysler Building, Times Square, the Hudson River, the East River, Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: New York
This morning, start your day with a visit to the Statue of Liberty, in Liberty Island. Later, tour of the 'city that never sleeps' driving past some of New York's iconic landmarks like Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, World Trade Centre Site (Ground Zero), Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, through Soho, Little Italy, Fifth Avenue, Broadway and Madison Square Garden to Times Square, located at the intersection of Broadway and 42nd, popularly known as the 'Crossroads of the World' and the heart of the entertainment district. Stop at The United Nations headquarters, the Rockefeller Centre and the Trump Tower. Enjoy a short walk in Central Park, an oasis in the heart of the city. Hold onto your hats and get ready for the ride of your life aboard "The Beast" speedboat! Your comic captains, Mad Dog and Wild Thing, take you on an exciting, adrenaline-fueled race across New York Harbour at 45 mph (72 kph). Fast, loud and funny, "The Beast" delivers spectacular views and pumping music on a New York trip that's a rollercoaster, water ride and 30 fun-filled minutes of high-speed cruising, all in one. "The Beast" makes a quick stop at the Statue of Liberty for a close-up photo opportunity.

Day 5:- New York to Atlantic City
Full day Atlantic City with Atlantic City aquarium. Famous for its boardwalk, casino gambling, sandy beaches, shopping centres, view of the Atlantic Ocean, and serving as the inspiration for the board game Monopoly, Atlantic City is a fun and hip getaway destination. Guests can try their luck at one of casinos located in the area, or walk along its charming Boardwalk, filled with shops and restaurants. Casinos may provide complimentary meal coupons and match play bonuses, providing even more value and chances to win! Afterward, guests will board transportation for the hotel to Atlantic City.

Day 6:– Atlantic City to Washington DC
Transfer to the capital of the U.S.A, Washington D.C, and Visit the 'National Air and Space Museum' at the Smithsonian Institution, the world's largest museum complex. Later, proceed on a guided city tour. Your first stop will be Capitol Hill, than on through Pennsylvania Avenue to the Lafayette Park for a view of the White House. Make stops at the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, a monument to the spirit, sacrifice, and commitment of the American people, the Lincoln Memorial located between Constitution and Independence Avenues, and the Jefferson Memorial.

Day 7: – Washington DC to Toronto
After Breakfast Transfer to Airport for your flight to Buffalo, Arrive Buffalo and Continue onto Canada. Proceed to the capital of Canada, Toronto, and the most populous city in Canada. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: – Toronto - Niagara Falls
See this beautiful city, one of the top financial centres in the world on your guided city tour. You will also have an opportunity to visit the CN Tower, Canada’s National Tower, which is 1815 feet tall. Cross the border and reach the American part of Niagara. Discover the beauty of the legendary whirlpool and rapids as you cruise past the base of Niagara Falls on the Maid of the Mist. (Due to weather conditions, the Maid of the Mist operates only after the last week of May. Prior to that date we will take you on a special View Mobile Tram ride). After the Maid of the Mist we proceed to the Cave of the Wind, which will take you to the bottom of the falls and you will experience the showers from the falling water. Overnight at hotel.
 
Day 9:- Niagara Falls to Orlando
After breakfast proceed to Buffalo Airport for your flight to Orlando, Transfer to Hotel and overnight at the hotel.  

Day 10:– Orlando
“Magic Your Way'’, today at the most magical place on earth - Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom. A national shrine to which visitors flock by the millions. Encounter Mickey, Minnie and other Disney characters that come alive in this incredible fantasy world. Let your imagination take flight and your spirit soar! This eventful day ends with 'SpectroMagic' where your dreams come true as your favourite Disney characters go by in dazzling, illuminated costumes, followed by the night time spectacular fireworks, 'Wishes'. After a day full of fun and excitement transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Orlando
A full day of fun awaits you as you travel to the future and explore cultures from around the world, in one visit at Epcot. Incredible! In 'Future World' there is fantastic adventure and exploration with trips around the human body, journeys into space, voyages under the sea and quantum leaps back in time. Take a walk around 'World Showcase'. Eat, drink and dance along with the experiences of eleven nations showcased. The centuries of communication as it has evolved is recorded in 'Spaceship Earth'. End your day with the 'Illuminations: Reflections of Earth', an extravaganza of lights, lasers, fireworks and music.

Day 12:– Orlando
Visit Sea World, a beautifully landscaped marine park with killer whales and sharks. Participate in some of the fast paced action rides and witness some spectacular aquatic shows. Satisfy your animal instincts as you feed and touch dolphins in a tropical lagoon, meet and feed California sea lions and harbour seals, journey through the world's largest underwater viewing tunnel for a rare and close look at sharks, moray eels and barracudas. Encounter Sea World's Shamu, the killer whale. See world famous shows like Believe, a captivating and visually stunning Shamu show, Odyssey, an underwater circus. These are just a few of the many things you can do here.

Day 13:- Orlando – Kennedy Space Centre - Miami
Arrive at Port Canaveral, Transfer from Port Canaveral to Kennedy Space Centre the Headquarters of National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA). Feel the thrill of space exploration on five-story screens as you "float" right alongside NASA Astronauts. Strap in and experience interactive space flight simulators at the Astronaut Hall of Fame. Touch a real piece of Mars; see gigantic rockets, aboard the Space Shuttle Explorer and much more. Enjoy a bus tour and visit the 60-foot-tall Launch Complex, 39 Observation Gantry for a breathtaking 360 degree view of the two giant Shuttle Launch Pads. In the Evening Reach Miami, Proceed for an orientation tour of Miami, Spend some time at the Miami Beach, and overnight at hotel.

Day 14: - Miami to Las Vegas
Early morning, Transfer to Airport for your flight to Las Vegas, the 'Gambler's Paradise'. This evening, proceed on a guided orientation tour of 'The Strip'. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Las Vegas - the towering Stratosphere rising 1,149 feet into the air and the Downtown Glitter Gulch where Las Vegas began. In the evening, enjoy an illumination tour and a wonderful show in Las Vegas - the Freemont Street Light Show. A night of entertainment in Las Vegas is a lifetime experience. Enjoy a delightful jet helicopter flight over neon Las Vegas at night. Take to the skies over the dazzling Las Vegas Strip. Millions of lights will mesmerize you as you cruise on your own magic carpet past dancing waters at the Bellagio, legendary Caesar's Palace, or maybe see the pirate fight at Treasure Island. Fly around the Stratosphere Tower rising 1,000 feet in the air then flying at low altitude, breeze past the lights of downtown. On your way back, you will pass the powerful space beam of the Luxor. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15:– Full Day Grand Canyon
This day, get ready to treat yourself and your family to the excursion of the Grand Canyon. Tours of the Grand Canyon a natural wonder of the world - where instead of 'Grand', more appropriate adjectives are 'Glorious', 'Exalted', 'Divinely Inspired'. One glimpse of its mighty majesty is all it takes to comprehend the name. Take a breathtaking flight over the Grand Canyon. Appreciate nature's largest masterpiece. See the Black Canyon, extinct volcanoes and Rainbow Gardens with some of the most colourful and unusual geological formations in the world. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16:– Vegas to Los Angles – City tour
Drive to Las Angeles the 'entertainment capital of the world'. On arrival, proceed to 3rd Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Beach. Later, embark on a guided orientation city tour of Los Angeles, driving past Beverly Hills, the famous Sunset Boulevard, Mann's Chinese Theatre, Rodeo Drive and the well-known 'HOLLYWOOD' sign. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17:– Los Angeles – Universal Studio
Spend the day at the largest movie studios in the world, Universal Studios. You will find yourself on location of movie sets like the chilling 'Psycho House', the 'Lost World-Jurassic Park' and experience the special effects on the earthquake ride. The cameras roll, the action is fast paced behind the scenes. Get an inside look at the sets and uncover the behind-the-scenes secrets of legendary films. Overnight at hotel.

Day 18:– Los Angeles to San Francisco
Today, drive to San Francisco, the city that will take you to new highs, leaving your minds spinning. Enroute, stop at Santa Barbara, the American Riviera...where life itself is a fine art and Pismo Beach, known for its long and wide spacious beach with its diamond shaped 1,200-foot historic pier. Continue with a Bay Cruise in the largest inlet of the Californian Coast. Next proceed on a guided orientation city tour with a walk on Lombard Street, the crookest street in U.S.A. Then drive past the Civic Centre. Stop for a photograph at the Twin Peaks from where you can view the Golden Gate Bridge, painted an 'International Orange'. This is the world's most famous bridge spanning the Golden Gate strait. Take a few steps on the Bridge, if you so wish. Later, drive to San Francisco's most popular destination, the Fisherman's Wharf through Ghirardelli square known for its historic waterfront and considered the city's most popular tourist destination with delicious seafood, spectacular sights and unique shopping. Spend a dollar or two at Pier 39, a festival marketplace with more than 110 stores, and numerous fun-filled attractions. Later, go shopping in Union Square. Overnight at hotel.

Day 19:– San Francisco – Day trip to Yosemite national park
Drive through the San Joaquin valley and stop for a break and a snack. Drive through gold country and up into the Sierra Nevada range and Yosemite National Park. Explore Yosemite's many amazing sights with an informative narrated tour from your guide. Be amazed by Bridal Veil Falls, El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more! Enjoy a mini-hike and plenty of photo stops around the Yosemite Valley. Explore on your own and enjoy a hike to one of Yosemite's waterfalls or relax at the visitor's centre where there are museums, restaurants, and the Ansell Adams Gallery. Drive to one of the Giant Sequoia groves stopping on the way to get a bird's eye view of the whole valley. Drive down the Sierra Nevada’s descending over 2000 ft and passing through Stanislaw’s National Forest. Stop for a break and a bite to eat. Drive back to San Francisco enjoying views of the sunset over the East Bay hills, the Peninsula and the city lights.

Day 20:– San Francisco Departure
After breakfast Proceed to Airport for your flight back to Onward Destination.
