DAY 1 - Arriving in Vancouver
Transfer on your own to your Vancouver hotel. An excellent choice to spend your first day in Vancouver would be to go visit the world-famous Capilano Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver. Suspended 230 feet above the Capilano River, this is truly a unique and fun experience for all.
DAY 2 and 3 - 'Rocky Mountaineer' to Kamloops and Banff
Your day begins with an early morning taxi transfer (included) to Vancouver's Pacific Central Station to board Rocky Mountaineer daylight train. Travel though the Pacific Coastal Mountains, Hell's Gate and onto Kamloops for the evening. (Breakfast and lunch onboard). Transfer (included) to your hotel in Kamloops for dinner (included) and an overnight stay. The next morning, transfer (included) back to the Kamloops train station where you will reboard Rocky Mountaineer and continue on your journey to the Canadian Rockies (breakfast and lunch onboard). Travel through the South Thompson River area, Kicking Horse Pass and Spiral Tunnels before arriving into Banff. Transfer (included) to your hotel upon arrival.
DAY 4 - Visiting Lake Louise and the Yoho Valley
Embark on a full day excursion to Lake Louise today (seasonal*). See Johnston Canyon, Moraine Lake, Yoho Valley, Takakkaw Falls and of course the "Jewel in the Rockies" - Lake Louise. Return to Banff in the early evening. Excursion to Lake Louise only will be substituted for all other dates).
DAY 5 - Discovering Banff and Calgary
Begin your day with a morning Discover Banff Excursion. This 3 hour guided excursion will include amazing views of the Bow Falls and the Hoodoos as well as a gondola ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. This afternoon take a Travellers World transfer to downtown Calgary where you will spend the night.
DAY 6 - Departing Calgary
A morning check out concludes your Canadian Rockies Highlights vacation.
This vacation is available in reverse, departing from Calgary.
*When day tours or attractions are not operational in the off-season, the price will be adjusted or there will an alternative excursion/attraction made available.
